An on-line version of the Vulgate shows the Latin source of this English fragment to be "Certa bonum certamen fidei". Thanks to the previous answerer for book, chapter and verse!

I can only find a translation of this phrase (from the Bible; Timothy 6:12) in Greek. Sorry!

I am sorry--I have never heard of the Latern language before.
