I also go to hightschool and I also like to flirt with girls.I dont play with her emotions they know that i flirt them "friendly".I DONT TOUCH, I complement them and say jokes not all the time and with a way that is completely friendly. .I dont want to become their boyfriend.I just want to be their friend and they know that.So there are two optinions.The first is that the guy want u and try to earn u throught flirt.Or he is like me and u probably u misunderstand him.
If he touch u and flirt only u all the time he probably wants u and dont have the courage to tell u his feelings.
Becareful,teens in our age like to play with others feelings.

all guys, no matter appearance, will do either one or two things with a girl they find attractive, "flirt" with her to get to know her better/ get somewhere with her, or be shy and not know what to say and maybe never talk to her

Also don't forget that guys are always open to any port in a storm, just don't expect any attachment or commitment after they dock their boat.

Some guys are naturally flirty and like to test their 'skills' with any girl, whether they fancy them or not. It gives them some kind of ego boost.

maybe he has an ulterior motive, such as doing a dare or trying to con you or something. flirting witth you means he's really into you. if he's not into you then it really isn't flirting.
