Almost all countries of the Western World are secular, but majority of them are christians.
After Charles Darwintheory of evolution came out, gradually after so many years almost all school and universitieshave started teaching it and Questions and discussions are based on it.
What I seek to ask is 1 individual Charles formulated this thery and
so many have adopted it, if his thery did not have a strong base then obviously his theory would never be taught see the Gospel of Spaggetti monster is not Taught anywhere because its unprovable, then why do these Christians keep on challenging this theory.

There are 2 types of christian fraternities that challenge evolution. First is those who have no idea that evolution is a very well documented science. Unlike academics and students of evolutionary biology, most people just aren't aware how many evidences support evolution. And due to this fact, here comes the second type of people who's aganist evolution, those who know that evolution is well documented, but only provided partial facts to others, so that evolution SEEMS to be wrong. As an example, before one species changes to another species, it has to be sort of in the middle of both species. Creationists argue that this type of fossil is not found, making a gap in the timeline of evolution. This is not true. In fact, plenty have been found.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_evolution gives a pretty background.
To put it simple, creationists are just trying to mislead those who do not have enough knowledge in the field.
As for me, I neither believe nor reject evolution. With more evidences coming up and new theories being formed, sooner or later we'll have the big picture.

Keep in mind the statement "theory" in the method of science that is exactly what a theory is a "theory". When any one states or teaches that the "theory" is a fact without it being at least 99% scientifically proven, then it will enter the emotive area and thus turns into a system of belief. With this in mind there are manny "theories" that are stated as fact. It is not just the Christians that challenge this one "theory" there are also a vast global number of sound scientists, Geologists, Australian Aboriginals and the Major faiths throughout the world.

Are people aware that evolution didn't start with Darwin? It was around for over a century before he was born. Lemarck was writing on evolution in the 18th century. Darwinism deals with a biological mechanism- evolution is a fact which is indisputable with or without Darwin so stop fixating on this individual.

I don't understand why people Live by Theories. Theories are only ideas, they are not proven. And when you come right down to it, Why does it Really matter at all where or how we got here. We're Here, So let's just get busy with Living. Just accept that Existence Exists and all will be fine.

The evidence that exists in the world supports evolution much better than the telling of creation in Genesis. Sometimes I think that you creationists just want someone to say that the government is competing with religion for the loyalty of the children. Fine, I'll say it just to make you happy.
THE GOVERNMENT TEACHES EVOLUTION AS APPOSED TO CREATION IN ORDER TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE YOUTH OF AMERICA AND WRESTLE THEIR LOYALTY AWAY FROM THE RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS.
There, ya happy?
I will ring your doorbell and run away!!!

Evolution, Survival of the Fittest, Natural selection. All have evidence. Christians keep challenging it because it challenges their belief.

You have to understand that because a country is described as christian it does not mean that we are all christians. Turkey, for example, is a country that is described islamic but all the guys I met there were all laid back about their religion. Just like many christians aren't nutters about theirs.

It is beyond me. Let's give a cookie to the person who can explain why people will not accept physical evidence that they can see and touch.

They fight it because it exposes a fundamental flaw in their belief system. Since they are so emotionally attached to this belief they are willing to forsake logic and reason.
