"Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer" by Gene Autry. It makes me feel like a little girl again. The flip side of the record was "If It Doesn't Snow On Christmas." It was great too.

I like "The Christmas Song" and "Winter Wonderland." I also like "Blue Christmas" by Elvis, it's sad and I listen to it at least once each Christmas season and feel sorry for myself because me, my husband and our daughter are so far away from the rest of our family and I grew up surrounded by cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. during the holidays. (But I only let me feel sorry for myself for the duration of the song.)
And I forgot "Away in a Manger" that song reminds me of why we celebrate Christmas, and I always get a tear on the part that says, "The Little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head."

Def "Silent night" specially when falling asleep after Christmas dinner. Little drummer boy - or whatever it's title is, is a likeable and more upbeat one in my favourites list, but not a patch on "I'm dreaming of a white christmas"

I think "I wish it could be christmas every day" is my favourite. I actually don't like fairytale of new york because I enjoy the happy, lively, chintzy songs of Christmas!
