Exuse me but I have to ask how old are you?

Bombing Iran, North Korea would be the end. Bombing Iran would contaminate their and possible other middle East oil supplies; it would solidify the Islamic Movement it would make every other third world country turn against us (so to make sure we could not get the jump on them) we would have daily assassinations and bombing just like they have in Russia and Baghdad.?

God I hope not they kicked our butts the first time and will this time. Don't you all know weapons including nukes mean nothing if you have enough people? DURING NAM, THE NVA OVERRAN BASE AFTER BASE AND THE WEAPONS IN OUR ARSENALS COULD NOT STOP THEM. In October 1950, China entered the Korea war and kicked our butts. They dared us to drop the atomic bombs on them. They knew their population was so large that for us to be able to put a dent in it would have caused so much atomic energy to have been expended the world as we knew it would have ceased to exist. Well, they have even more people now; we would have a hard time using nukes on North Korea, as due to their proximity to South Koreas we would be killing an ally. The North Koreas rolled over the South in 1950 but would have a harder time this time but would prevail. Japan has a non-aggression Constitution but I believe they would have to come to the aid of the South. If not and the North wins and eventually rolling over Japan. I don't think American could stop them this time, too much political correctness plus big brother China. No, North Korea would not be someone anyone should wake up!

No, only kids, literates and that bunch of professional losers believe that garbage of aggression. Have you ever wondered why China is everyone friend and why everyone in a political situation listens to them and takes their advise?

God Bless you our schools and the Southern People!

Neither.

N. Korea has been rattling its saber for decades now and nothing more comes of it besides sanctions and more international aid which is diverted from its starving population to its military reserves. China - which has veto power in the UN Security Council - will not allow restrictions which are too stringent for fear of millions of N. Koreans streaming across its borders. Basically, Kim Jong Il is a toothless tiger - we know this - and we just have to feed him some scraps and go about our business.

Iran is too powerful to attack and the U.S can't handle it right now. The U.S. is bogged down in two tar pits with no power to attack another enemy. No matter who wins next month - or in 2008 - this is not going to change any time soon. A full pullout now in order to launch an offensive against Iran would be disasterous for Iraq and would hand the country over to extremists - making it more dangerous in the future. The U.S. military is overstretched as it is. The only way to get enough manpower to attack anybody else, or even to secure Iraq as it is, would be to impliment the draft, which is political suicide.

Well. If it happens North Korea. They have the bomb now. for what it is worth to them. Not much. Small, primitive, WWII era type bomb. They can't eat it. That's what they really need, food.If we go to war it will have to be primarily air power which might mean the use of some sort of nuclear weapon ourselves. Political suicide or not we need the draft. The biggest thing ham stringing our military is lack of numbers and the high cost of recruiting. These bonuses are expensive. Used to be 'greetings' in the mail. As well the current war is spreading itself to unfairly on the poorest citizens. That is normal though. The draft would even that out some what.

Sometime back during the American invasion of Iraq, dubbed by me as 'Gulf War II', I was clutching my head with my hands in dismay and shouting to no one in particular, "No! No! They got the wrong target! North Korea! North Korea!!" Since then, North Korea has progressed from stating its intentions to develop nuclear weapons, to stating that it has nuclear weapons, to test firing the Taepodong dildos and conducting actual nuclear tests.

All wrong.
China should deal with North Korea.
Russia, France and U.K. should deal with Iran.
US should deal with Cuba and rouge states in the Americas.

Stong nations should be concern for the neighbours and not your friend's neighbours.

Probably neither.
The Democrats have already surrendered to both countries.
Which encourages all our enemies.
