Well voices are not necessarily that un-natural to hear, having said that; if the voices are in a conversation between the two, and you do not know the voices to be self ordained, then quite possibly you may have an early onset of a psycotic disorder or episode. It would be healthy of you to report this to a psychologist and explain any other possible changes developing lately, such as incoherent speech, and delusions. Go get help immediately.

Yes it is called a Psychotic Episode. They are no fun either. I have them also but they seem to be worse at night when I am laying in bed. I take my Seroquel which is for Psychotic Episodes. Some nights I hear crowds of voices in my head. My doctor just upped the milligram on my Seroquel and it seems to be helping better than before.

Are you on any kind of medication because you fail to say if you are or are not. If you aren't I would suggest that you go to the Psychiatrist and get help with your problem. There are a lot of drugs out there that can help you with your problem. Please do not listen to what Survivor has said to you because they no longer do lobotomy's and seldom do electric shock therapy. That is old school Psychiatry. There are many new drugs on the market that can help you. See a Psychiatrist because all that they do is listen to you and then prescribe a medication for you to get stable on. Please don't let people scare you with the lobotomy and electric shock therapy. Shock therapy is used only when a person is so far gone that they are unable to function anymore. That is not your case. Go to see a Psychiatrist it is the only way that you can get straightened out and please don't let people scare you because we do have modern medicine these days not the stuff they used to do back in the day. Good Luck

Messages! Pay attention to what they are saying. Are they saying critical things to you? In which case you need to deal with them as if they are voices of people in the past who have criticised you. Make a note of the criticisms and discuss them with a counsellor so that you can recover from the hurt of whatever was said to you. If they are saying good things to you, that is because your inner self is trying to heal you from hurts you have received, so listen to them and believe them. If they are telling you to do bad things DO NOT do those things but seek the help of a trusted counsellor to deal with what is happening (Not all counsellors are right one for all of us!) Some people say their voices are God telling them to do something. God never tells anyone to do anything which will hurt any person including yourself. Hearing voices is not schizophrenia. We all have our voices all the time telling us to "hurry up or we'll be late" or to "get on with the housework" or a thousand other things. We are just unaware that they are voices! Take care of yourself, you are OK. Learn to love yourself. (When I say "couynsellor" I do not mean a psychiatrist. Keep away from psychiatrists if you want to keep your brain intact!! They are into electric shock, drugs and lobotomies on people and do a lot of irreparable damage.

Usually it's schizophrenia. But I've heard them on rare occasions when praying for guidance and I'm not schizophrenic. If it's definitely some other person's voice telling you to do things you don't want to do, it's schizophrenia and you need some doctor's help.

They are very personal acquaintances trying to help you sort things out in your life. Listen to them, but don't always take their advice. Seek out a qualified psychotherapist to help you figure out which voices may have helpful advice for you and which voices may be offering harmful advice. Take care! =^..^=

When, where and what are you doing when you hear these voices? Is it all the time or sporadic? Does it bother you? Can you deal with it? Analyze yourself and get some kind of professional input.
