I am not Muslim, but I do not like the idea of assuming they are 1- ugly (Muslim Queen of Jordan - Rania, one of the most beautiful women in the world), 3 - ashamed of *** (come on, Muslim women are also aware of depilation). 2 - too beautiful? Well, I guess it is the modesty they feel and have the right to feel that way and their way. I got your question as a hate question and do not like it at all.

I realize you meant this as a silly question, but my Grandmother used to wear a veil most of the time when in public and if she was dressed up. It was part of their hats women wore back then. I'm talking about in the forties and fifties. It wasn't so dark you couldn't see their face but it was more as a sun shield than anything else back then by American women.

i'll just ask u one question , am not expecting an answer for myself as i know the answer very well... if u have a very precious diamond, will u expose it to all people to touch it, play with it, and may cause it lots and lots of harm and lower it's price? or u will put it in a very secure place so that it will maintain its value? .
think about it again, and be sure, that islam only want to preserve all human race.
one more thing i'de like to add, look at most of the europian advertisment, they use the body of woman and cheapen it's cost to the lowest prices, making the worst use of it , just to make their products well known !!
to be honest with you, this is the reall huminating to the woman, not wearing the viel mem.
