You have to describe the ethics as an engineer. You could talk about the consequences of chemical contamination etc. For the UK and EU legislation stuff, that relates to the laws in the UK and EU concerning business and ethical business practices. The engineering organisation is a business.

Well, praise be to God, I'm not in the EU. But it looks to me like they are fishing for UK and EU regulations that apply. Which I can't imagine even in the U.S. there would be a tremedous list.

1. Aviation is going to have its own set of standards and regulations for design.
2. Composite parts are going to also trigger another set of regulations and standards for Design.
3. Use of hazzardous chemicals in the manufacturing process is going to require compliance with the whole range of workplace safety regulations including the handling of hazzardous materials.
4. In the U.S. we have regualations "Comunity Right to Know" laws. Requiring the notification of nearby residents and local emergency response agencies (Fire and Police). If certain quantities of Hazzardous materials are stored on site (Triggered by the Disaster in India).

I can't imagine what will be required by the EU.
