I made comment about illegal people coming here should have to join the army or be jailed .My question is why telling the truth a bad thing. No dumb answers please.

Because there are a lot of power hungry, trigger happy people out here who get off on clicking that "report abuse" button. It's kind of insane how they seem to automatically remove some things, yet a lot of garbage gets left up.

uuum, isnt it pretty dumb(and mean ) to simply post a comment, and not a question in the answers forum....doing so usualy implies the intent for feed back- and since your comment was obviously an opinion- you should mature enough to handle the fact that not everybody is going to kiss your butt,and agree with whatever you say.....its what makes the mind valuable---and just for the record- i agree with you, but i wouldnt post it up on a site where others who are here illegally can see it-- i realise that for the good of our economy- we should deal with these issues- so maybe you should check into how you help your gov. do that-- but damn, i dont hate them enough to say it rudely, i also realise that youre a pretty lucky bastard to live where you do, and simply turning away the less fortunate...well i wouldnt be so tactleesly crude about it- try to be grateful for your freedom- deserve it.

Your question seems reasonable to me.
I don't think your solution would work, though. If you think about it, do you really want to place the security of the nation in the hands of people who have no permanent vested interests in the welfare of the nation? It seems that citizens would be far better. Wouldn't you agree?

People get emotionally involved with the whole " illegal " thing, Because they have married illegals, know of illegals, are illegals or have illegal friends.
