A little skin lightening on each spot works. you have to be diligent but it works

I'm not black, but I know how to take care of itching from mosquitos, those awful green-head flies, horse flies, no-seeums ....
best is a spray ,,, Cortaid Intensive Therapy cooling spray

2nd best is a cream ... Benadryl Extra Strength itch stopping cream.

Also, I'm told sticking a frabric dryer sheet (I forget the name brand, not snuggle, the other one) in your pocket keeps mosquitos away.

Enjoy the peace.

I find that the best way to deal with bug bites in general is to not scratch them. They will (for me anyhoo) go away in a few hours if not scratched every minute. As I love the wilderness I get them quite often and it becomes a trick of the mind to not scratch at them. But failing that calomine lotion also reduces the urge to scratch them. I have also found that once you scratch them the first time they tend to stay about longer. Anyhoo....there's my 2cs.
