As a few have mentioned, Hors d'oeuvre (pronounced oar-derves) is a most common alternative word to appetizers.

There is also antipasto, canape, cocktail, finger foods, snack
munchies, tidbits.

Depends on part of country (US) or world you are in, which word would be the colloquial jargon to use.

Wellab 76 is correct and answered well. But aperitif only refers to alcoholic beverages served before the meal.
