The vast majority of businesses in the United States belong to their local Chamber of Commerce. This is a government office that promotes the formation of new businesses, and the growth of already established companies.

There is a quick and easy way to get a list of contacts in the area where you are going to conduct your affairs. You simply need to Email or write the local Chamber of Commerce and tell them what you need.

To find the local CoC, simply click on the first URL listed below. That will take you to a website that will help you contact the specific businesses you might need in the United States.

If this website does not have what you require, then the second URL will lead to a site that has a more comprehensive list. This site will help you contact not only American firms, but also international companies that also do business inside the US.

The last URL will take you to the Federal CoC website. Simply contact them and explain what you need, and they will be able to direct you to a resource that will help even if they don't have what you are looking for.

generally the smartest way to do that is to google a website index program in the city your interested in. be careful to avoid sending emails with graphics or block headers as most of that is eliminated through spam blocker. what you need to do is to grab one of the index programs and put together a simple form letter addressed to no more than one or two clients at a time so, again, you eliminate the blockers....something to the effect of.
