if you use the above link, it tells you all about different styles of bobs to suit your face shape and hair texture- straight/curly etc.

I have my hair in a long bob, although i have a heart shaped face. That way it doesn't take long to grow it longer. However, i find that a bob is easier to maintain.

I would recommmend it.

Yes bobs work great on oval face shapes. My face is oval and I use to have a bob. I can't wait to be able to get one again. The person who said a bob works best on a round face is wrong, it will make is look even rounder. allot of people say a bob is to cutesy. I totally desagree. I did not look cutesy when I had mine and I got so many compliments on it,more then any other style I have ever had and yes, even long.

I don't think so hun, round faced is what really suits a bob, my face is oval shape too & I got a longish neck so long hair suits me better. If you really want to put it to the test go to one of the stores that sell wigs i.e. Debenhams and try some bob style ones on, then you will get an idea as to how it will look if you go ahead and have the cut.

There are lots of different types of bobs, and of course different hair types. Get a hair style magazine and look through it. And a good stylist will tell you if a certain style will not work for your face or hair type, so always ask. (If your hair is really thick your bob will look too poofy.) Or take several pictures of styles you like in when you have your appointment and ask which one will look best with your face type. One time I went in and the stylist refused to cut my hair the way I wanted, she said it just wouldn't look right. Then later I found an old picture of myself with a similar style, and just as the stylist said, it just didn't look right!

Because your face is beautifully balanced(OVAL), long layered locks, bouncy bobs, or choppy crops all work well for you. So, in addition to deciding the length of your cut, also focus on accentuating your best features- awesome eyes? Frame your face with cute bangs! Cheekbones to die for? Get layers that graze those beauties..

No,i have same, and I made that mistake, were we have that shape face, you want to stick with the long hair look, just have them layer it into a real pretty cut that you can were a couple different ways,I have mine,so if I blow dry it under,I have the nice flat angle look,And if I blow dry it back its more the feather look!Good luck, hollywood
