the word Pedophile is a word exist during the modern world. but life before was different, otherwise the enemy of Muhammad will make a big deal of it. and tradition was different, for example, cousin marriage is illegal in the state while homosexual is fine. in Arabia, cousin marriage is legal, while homosexual is forbidden.
and who is Aisha? from a society that allow porn, adulteries, and sexuality freedom then i understand where your mind is going. not everything is about sex you moron. this girl is the first Muslim scholar, after Muhammad death, she carried his message to the next generation. she recorded almost 25% of his words and teachings. Muhammad was a shy man, he couldn't answer women questions, so he used to give them to Aisha. Aisha taught many women and men about the true meaning of Islam. she used to preach about Islam. she was more as a student than a wife.

I understand that in certain areas of the world and in certain climates, and at earlier times in history, girls normally reached puberty as early as 9 years old; and that is why they were marriageable at so young an age. Also, that it was necessary, at that time, that women, who had no protector be married so as to be protected. Also, I would like to see your proof that he consumated the marriage.

it was God's order.He knows what u don't.Aisha was married at 9,stayed with her parents( it was commitement)came to Prophet(pbuh) place at 13,n she has reached puberty.
God's will was in it,b\c after the death of prophet(pbuh) muslims r not misled,or mis guided,she was brilliant,intelligent lady.she taught the teachings of Islam,she passed on the msg of oneness of God,n solve problems...
that's the reason,today we have not started calling prophet(pbuh) son of God, like christians did with Prophet Jesus(pbuh)

You answered your own question... It's quite funny to see the Muslims react to such a question the way they do. What makes Muhammed so special? They are quick to judge Catholic priests (who we as Christians r disgusted in and we dont justify these people's acts).
In society when a 57 year old man just hints in the direction of a underage girl he would be classified as a pedophile... when using this reasoning I would say YES ur absolutely right.

Yes, I think he was a paedophile. We hear a lot about Catholic priests who have fallen by the wayside, but this man was supposed to be a prophet. I think the matter needs to be discussed!
