Much of the time Jesus did not need to warm up His audience..they were already "hot under the collar" because they had their own form of religion and He kept stepping on their toes showing them that they had no idea of what they were talking about...that actually, they were hypocrites and that in reality, they knew who HE was...the SON of the Living GOD but they were afraid for their jobs...not about their eternal destiny.

Jesus doesn't need to play any instrument to warm up his people simply He has a charisma as being Divine. Jesus preach without pointing a shotgun He preach the truth in the way His Father has given Him mission to save the world.

I think that you mean Jesus? It isn't in the Bible but there is no mention of his Disciples doing this so may be they did before he came to warm every one up. But then they would have been a lighter in their approach to Jesus instead of questioning him all the time and doubting him, they would have been joking with him so No I don't think so but a good question though.
