once randomly (because of something we talked about) he said wanna hook up and then said joking we both agreed that wouldn’t work out because we don’t know each other that well (I HAVE met him) so after he called me all these names like

Sexy Dina
Baby girl
Babe and stuff like a boyfriend would say to his girl
(We had normal conversations until then)
I thought it was just like he feels we have reached a level of friendship or something and I guess he felt comfortable saying that but then he got all serious and was like
wub you (Love you?) or did he say that and not mean love…maybe it was friendly…
I told him I loved him too and then i felt like we were doing something and he said luv you so I felt like we were in a relationship
It was obvious he loved me but does that mean were in something? Even though he never said were dating?
More details if you want to read:
He never actually said Love as in love always wub and luv and these cute icons and like kissing icons which means he does love me but maybe not? Im really confused and I DON’T want to ask him to his face incase he feels that I didn’t realize we were in something and feels something.. I don’t know Im just confused… maybe I want something and he’s like that with everyone after a while and I just like the idea of him wanting me?

He definitely likes you, and is flirting with you, but I wouldn't push the issue! Take it easy and let it ride, if you guys are a good match, eventually you will be together. Some things don't need to be said out loud, they just are or will be!

I think you answered your own question with your last sentence! Saying wub you is a safe guard used for a later time if he thinks things are getting to serious he can say"who the heck would take "wub you" seriously!
And when guys call girls all those cute little names.... they are usually involved with more than just one girl. Using those cute little names prevents him from calling you someone else's name!

talk and tell him what you think and he can tell you what he thinks --- and you might find many interesting things happening
