well..normally it depends on the nature of your doggie.if the dog is kind and gentle there wont be any problem but if the dog is active and inquisitive so you wont even get to introduce your rabbit to the dog as it will be in his stomach.

If the beagle is a puppy you have half a chance that it won't eat the rabbit as it should think of it as a 'pack mate'. If it's adult, don't put them together or even in reach of each other. In either case, do not leave them unsupervised or you could find your rabbit has become lunch.
We have two beagles and they've killed two rabbits, two moles and a bird and countless bugs in the yard. They also tried to eat my pet rats when I tried to introduce them so they'd get along, which... they didn't. They thought of the rats as 'breakfast' and tried to chow down.
Beagles are hunters and they'll hunt, and they'll eat whatever doesn't eat them first.

Dogs love to chase rabbits Though it is possible to train your dog with supervision not to see rabbit as prey, you have to ensure your rabbit doesn't become game. Put your beagle on leash and don't let your rabbit alone. Try not to, why not just get another rabbit as companion?
Caution: Do not buy cats, they will hunt your pet down. Other combinations like bird rabb and fish rabbit should be ok.

if u buy the beagle as a pup you will hopefully be able to indroduce them and they will grow up as friends. but if the rabbit is older and never been around dogs it might get very scared and either attack the dog or go into shock and die. also if the dogs older it might attack the rabbit as beagles were bred as hunting dogs. good luck

hi
it depends on the dogs attitude towards the rabbit.on the first day u get it it might bark a lot at the rabbit but all the dog wants to do is play with it (don`t let the dog play with it because the dog will become to ruff and may kill it).

after a few weeks the dog will notice that its not allowed to hurt the rabbit.

Gd luck

p.s give the dog as much attention as u give the rabbit (give them both the same amount of attention).

Socialize properly and you minimize the risk. Never leave unsupervised together to prevent any mishaps. A puppy might be more accepting, however the rabbit may not be tolerant. Remember rabbits are prey animals and dogs are predators.

With a lot of patience, you could raise the two together. Never leave the two along together. Beagles want to hunt.
I do have a friend who keeps small chickens and cats together, so it is possible.
