In some very close relationships such as parent child...it is often difficult for the parent to step back and take a look at themselves from your point of view and even more difficult to talk like an adult to your parent when they always see you as a child. Dont act like one if you can help it. Just tell your mother, yes, I know Im not my brother/sister and you'll just have to get used to that...even twins have two different personalities, goals, desires and abilities. You can also tell your mom, 'hey, when ever you figure out how to clone my brother/sister...lol just kidding. Just realize parents are almost always catering to one child in particular because their personalities fit each other better.
Use your personality differences to get along with others who are similar. I think God does that on purpose so when we go out in the world...we are able to deal with all types of people. :)

dont worry, it is just that your mom expects a lot out of you maybe and thinks you are not able to fulfill any of her expectations. it happens to me sometimes as well. i think you should just sit with her and make her understand that you are different than kids. tell her that you might be better than those kids in some other way and that by comparing you to them she is just making you feal worse. she might probably think that by doing that you would try to improve or be like how she wants you to be, but u should tell her that it wont help. you will feel more neglected and might result inyou fighting with them. ask her not to compare you with them. and appreciate you for whatever you are and make you understand in some other way. good luck!!

Comparison is bad i agree but that does not mean that your mom does not love you.
Don't we too compare in life.Take instances from your own life we tend to compare if not aloud within ourselves.Your mother just wants you to learn the positive side of something for your good.Don't feel insecure its only that she wants you to do the best. Its only when you do something wrong that we need to correct you isn't it? Try to see things from your mothers point of you may be she feels helpless too when you do something wrong probably she gets frustrated but wants you to improve.Think and try to understand her SHE LOVES YOU

it's not so much she's comparing you to the other...she's just trying to teach and guide you to do right.....if you do something wrong or shameful you should be corrected....respect your mom..

Your mother is greatly disappointed in you. She's ashamed at how you have turned out. You must try harder.
