The self-appointed religious leaders, misogynist who compiled the books for Christianity (314AD?-335AD?) to form the Bible as per Emperor er Constantine's orders, viewed sex as nothing more than a means to fulfill the obligation of procreation, not sex as recreation (they were a bunch of old men, couldn't get an erection and didn't have Viagra at THAT time)! This has been droned into most Christians from generation to generation... parents afraid to broach the topic to their children lest they "contaminate" their children with crazy, hedonistic ideas! I wonder how they feel about pedophiles... in their religions, near their children, preaching to their children and passing off as spiritual leaders to be trusted...!

That's a mighty huge brush there that you are tarring us all with. I am a Christian and I have no hang ups there. My husband has no complaints other than maybe there is not enough sex going on. I could be as cruel as you I suppose and say why can't you spell Christians?

Christians are taught to have sex hang-ups so they will avoid non-procreative sex and channel the energy into the church, and so they can be more easily controlled. Same reason the Chinese army doesn't allow its young men to have sex. Repressed sexual drives are great to use for manipulation and control.

Why does anybody have sex hang ups?
You can't single out Christians for this. It happens to everybody.
And the 99.99 % of Christen, Jews, Mohammedans, Buddhists, etc regard sex as a natural part of life, like you said.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'christitians' but I do know that Christians are smart enough to know that sex is only good if you don't abuse it.

Your problem isn't with how Christians view the sanctity of sexual behavior, it is with the idea that they don't give it the absence of respect that you do.
You treat it like a couple of dogs humping and the Christians treat it as a special gift to their spouse.
Go bark up another tree.

Sexual intercourse is a means of reproduction and if you view it as a pleasure of life it's called lust. Human beings should controlanimal insticts and not making that a goal of life. We have to think about the day when we reach the end of our lives and we have to have answers by then. There's more to human life than eating and sleeping, ... if you can see.
