Religion has caused more killing than any other factor.
Northern Ireland where Catholics and Protestants have been killing each other for a hundred years.
The Crusades? Catholics kill Muslims.
Jihad: Muslims kill Christians and Jews.
Wars between Pakistan and India, Hindu vs Muslim.
No one religion has a lead here.
It's not the faith, but the extremists who follow it.

The fifth through tenth commandment dictate how we are to treat others as individuals. There are righteous reasons to go to war given in the Bible such as to protect and defend the innocent. The government is held responsible and individual soldiers acting on its behalf are following Biblical teachings. Romans chapter 13 explains both the submission to governing authority and the golden rule.

technically its thou shalt not murder. if it was thou shalt not kill, w'ed all starve to death, or get eaten alive by insects, or have some unspeakable diseases. although im totally against war, war isnt murder, its survival
