Make sure you go to get your tatoo in a HYGENIC place where you can sit down with the tatooist first so he/she can talk you through it. They will tell you all you need to know and if you need to know more then go and see your doctor.

I have several tattoos on different areas of my body and I have sensitive skin. I didn't have any problems, until I tattooed my arms. I developed itchey bumps on that area. It eventually went away but occasionally my tatoos on my arms looked raised. I've had these tats for about six years on my arms so thats how long I've been going through the allergic reaction. It really depends, and you should maybe check with a dermatologist they may be able to determine if your skin will be able to handle a tatoo.

The pigments used in certain colors might cause you to have an allergic reaction. I heard that the color that causes the most reactions is red. That said, I have extremely sensitive, allergic skin and I have 2 tattoos with several different colors, even red, and I didn't have a reaction. Ask the tattoo artist if there is any kind of allergy skin test you can take to see if you are allergic to any of the colors. Or ask your Dr.

This is a yes and no answer. If your skin is really sensitive, you will have an allergic reaction to the ink. But thats why you MUST go get a test. Most good tattoo parlors will test you with the regular ink and see if you break out, if you dont then they will use it, if you do break up there is a special ink that can be used. (The ink fades faster though).... I have sensitive skin and i have 3 tattoos, so you should be fine :)

"I have allergic skin"

I would reword that in a less confusing way.

If you have highly sensitive skin that is prone to being allergic to many substances, I would talk with a dermatologist first to find out what you are allergic to. Then I would talk with them and a tattoo artist about the risks and dangers you are running.

Most inks are hypoallergenic meaning that they are safe to use an basically all types of skin. I don't think you have much to worry about, but still check to be on the safe side.

You'll need to go to the parlor and ask for hypoallergenic ink. It comes in every color except red. The artist will have to do a test as well in which they place a small dot of each color ink they'll use on your elbow are forearm and you have to leave it there for 24 hours.

I have very sensitive skin and I've got 3 tattoos. It hurt some but I didn't have a skin breakout or anything.

My skin is really sensitive, and I have two tattoos. I have had no problems at all. Just make sure you go to the place and check it out first, and let them know you have sensitive skin.

I even have 2 hand-crafted ones and that i used a razor and sharpie, the ink quite dwindled yet seen. So in case you opt for it, do it. Screw absolutely everyone else's opinion. As on your ear, i do no longer understand the way that may assist you there.
