Actually long distance relationships do work, it forces you to COMMUNICATE. I'm in one right now because my g/f took a better job out of state and we talk every single day on the phone and travel to meet one another when we can.

I had a long distance relationship---my ex was stationed overseas for 2 years. We were together the entire time, only because we made sure that we worked hard at the relationship. You need to ask yourself, how much do I care about this person? Do I care enough to work extra hard to make sure he knows how I feel and to make sure he feels the same way. Ask him how he feels about the distance. Maybe he will feel that you should take a break until you can get a chance to see each other more. Talk to him, that is one of the most important characteristics in a relationship, if you dont communicate, you'll fail in an instant. Good Luck.

I agree with allansc20, learn to spell. Also, I was in a long distance relationship with a man who lived 3 hours away for an entire year, I was even engaged to him. But you need to understand that when someone is that far away, they could get away with murder and you would never know about it. Be with someone that you can see on a regular basis. Those are the relationships that stand a fighting chance.
