Why does flirting make someone feel happy and good on the inside?? Anyone know?

Truthfully, its an Ego boost, nothing more. Not that we don't need the occasional Ego boost, we are half-animal after all.

When I was younger I was flirtatious just because I was immature and seeking. Now I am a single custodial father and still flirt every now and again because it feels good even if unattainable. There is something nice about the playful banter exchanged when flirting. I will call it keeping in practice for when my children are older and I am truly single again.

I think it lets off some chemical in your brain that makes you feel happy like an endorphin like adrenaline... .. I know it makes me happy..
