ive just started going out with this guy and hes somebody i dont usually go out with. everyone i know is commenting and sawing wtf is she doing with him. even my close friends are telling me that i deserve better and its making me think. i dont want a serious long relationship with this guy but he does. im just up for a bit of fun i dont see it going anywhere. i cant dump him now cos it will break his lil heart (lol) and i wont look very good either people talked when we strted going out let alone if i dump him less than a week later.

Girl, who cares what everyone else thinks, and if you break his lil heart, well thats HIS problrm and not yours. If your lookin for fun, explain to him that your not ready for a serious relationship, because he may take it the wrong way and in the end there will be disaster, no one said dont have fun, but just let him know, If you dont wanna tell him that you just wanna have fun, then tell him you wanna be close friends with all the fun stuff in between. its your life girl so have fun!!!

To be fair to him, just let him know that you just are interested in a casual relationship, nothing serious.
You do not have to "dump" him, but if you become interested in someone else, you can just gradually see less and less of this guy.
As far as what your friends say: if you do decided to stop seeing him and they say anything, just tell them that things did not work out and that you are still friends with him. You don't have to answer another question after this response. It is not your friend's business.

if you dump him now and it will break his heart, how will it be after a month or two? Not any easier, I believe. Be upfront with him now, tell him you'd like to have a little fun, but you're not looking for anything serious. Live your life for yourself, not how you'll look in your friends or other peoples eyes.

Why does it matter what people think? You don't see it going anywhere? What is wrong with you? Yes, life is about having fun, but not hurting others! Cause baby, KHARMAS A *****! Go out, have fun and date someone you LIKE and maybe see it going somewhere at least past a week, right? There's no "type" as to one to chooses to go out with, but if you don't want to be with him. Life is way too short to "waste" it on someone you don't want to be with, spend it with one that you enjoy. Make sense?

It sounds to me that you care more about what people think instead of thinking for yourself. If you are going to be shallow like that go ahead and break it off with him as soon as you can that way he can move on to something better. Maybe someone that doesn't care about what people say.

Since you have no feelings for him, i would recommend you to stop this at once. if you continue this relatioship with him and break up later, he would feel more pain losing you.it's better you end this up as soon as possible.dont play with hearts,it hurts!!
