DO SHAMPOOS THAT ARE "ANTI-POOF", "ANTI-FRIZZ", "ANTI-FLAT"...ACTUALLY WORK? Or are they just titles for regular shampoos that smell good? It's frusterating enough looking for a decent shampoo but I would like to know what you think about these specifially targetted shampoos and conditioners.

I find that most retail shampoos and conditioners that claim "anti-frizz" have a very high wax content in them that work in the begining - but then over long term use end up causing wax build up in my hair causing it to look greasy or dirty. I've never used an "anti-flat" shampoo, but I would think that it would probably be the same. What I ended up doing was going to a nice salon and talking with a hair stylist who recommended a protien shampoo and conditioner twice a week with a shampoo and conditioner for fine hair the rest of the days. I was trying to fix damage done to my hair by a perm that was growing out and I've had good success with it. So I would recommend going to a salon and having your hair looked at to determine what would be best for your hair. Good luck.

I did try Pantene anti-flat for a while but didn't feel it actually did anything. I don't think my hair got any thicker as a result. Great shine and my hair is always in good condition with Pantene but, no that didn't work!
