I had seen many a men who i had no knowledge of
Not one posessed what it was that i was looking for.
When i first lay my eyes on you, a figure a form of distinguishness, in truth you made my head turn.
Your eyes spoke to me in such a way, and i became undone
And lost all conciousness of the world, because my heart was won.
I soaked up everything you stood for, with my whole being
Intoxicated with my thoughts, and not getting a moments peace.
In my awakening of what i felt inside, I could but only hope you saw my heart, when you searched within my eyes.
I saw and fell for, you conqured, and rendered,
And stirred in me the measures of love, that made it hard to breath.

I think it is a really good poem i write too. any thing that comes from the heart is poetry.

It is prose.....but you have some lines that rhymn.
For instance undone, then won. you need to change one of the words.

Free verse (poetry), lovely sentiment, grammar and spelling need work. Keep trying...some evidence of talent.

this is poetry. it is very well written, because it is super sweet ! =D the person whom it is written for must be a lucky person (: i can sense the love. a deep, strong, passionate one.
