I agree w/NAZ. And how to do that takes practice. 1) HOWEVER, DO NOT TAKE THE DEFENSE. It take two to play. Clever one-liners will offset an offensive person in their tracks and when the first one works you will just feel so empowered.
#1 (and it goes along w/NAZ) "Oh, well yeah. Hum. I see what you mean".
#2 "Well, hum...I've never really thought it that way...interesting."
#3 "Yes. I can see how that may work."
#4 "That is the most arrogant/offensive remark I've heard in a while. Ha, ha, ha."
Sometimes, just a puzzled look at whats come from someones mouth is fun. And a good "say, what??" !! Or "Forgive me, I'm sorry. I didn't quite understand what you meant."
No matter what, end your comment as comment - not a question. And above all...TAKE ONE MOMENT TO DECIDE IF IT'S EVEN WORTH YOUR TIME TO RESPOND. We all have the right to walk away.
The difference is rather we take that B.S. with us or leave it with the owner. Practice with everyone. Those offensive/arrogant persons are only displaying self-doubt and insecurities. Don't hate them, just pray for them.

A Gentleman or Lady simply does not notice such people. Remember, their arrogance and offensiveness is only effective because you have permitted a violation of your personal integrity. Socially, if forced to respond, a fairly remote smile followed by a murmured "How quaint" is usually sufficient. Followed by your departure. If, however, the offender is your employer, the situation becomes a little more tricky. In that case, I would recommend a serious financial error leading to bankruptcy for the company.

get ur head across the shoulder pads, if u dont then it might lead to a neck injury, make sure u wrap up with ur arms around the person u are tackling, and run them over all at the same time, but dont get juked cause that's embarrasing but if it happens forget about it and go save face by slapping the coach of the other team in the face face

I'm not claiming to be any sort of expert here. However, I find that being direct with them in the most polite manner is the best approach. Don't let your temper get the best of you. I only advise doing so only if the situation calls for any attention, though.

As long as they are not your boss, whenever they assault you with their offensiveness or arrogance, look at them straight in the eye, tell them "I don't like you" and walk away. This hurts them to the bone.

Public humiliation is always the best way to go! Find every single way that you can to make them look stupid but be sure to pull it off in a way that makes you still look classy and even-minded.
