I am dating a girl who doesn't like to hear that she is skinny. She thinks that being called a skinny girl means not eating enough and throwing up. I think that's rediculous, but how else should I describe her beauty then, she is beautiful and skinny, I mean My God!!? What else can I do to make her feel appreciated in her body? Thanks!

Try complimenting other things about her body. Her hair, her face, the graceful way she moves.
"slim" is a nice alternative. Also "you have a models figure" might work.

What do you mean by the use of the word "skinny"? Long and lithe? Elegant and graceful? Shapely and attractive? Like she takes good care of herself? Or just plain hot? Tell her with another word or words. When I hear "skinny", it sounds like underweight, not real shapely, lacking curves, etc. Women sometimes don't assign the same meaning to a word as a man does. If you have a sister or platonic female friend & you find that your choice of words frequently trips you up, ask for some advice in this area, like you did here. Smart man who is willing to work on being a clear communicator and making sure his girl knows she is attractive and desirable!

Instead of focusing on how skinny she is , just tell her you think she is gorgeous, adorable, beautiful, stuff like that.

She knows she's thin, so why not compliment her smarts, the great way she makes you feel, her honesty, generosity or other endearing traits. Women get sick of purely physical complements even if they are meant to make us feel nice.

say that why you will have to say that you love her and that you are worryed about her being over thin but you will have to mean it
