Earlier today i started feeling this sensation on the back part (on each side) of my lower teeth where it feels uncomfortble (i dont know if i would describe it as pain) but i feel like i need to bite into something hard like an apple and that that would make it feel better. What is going on

Abcess. It's got an abcess below it, or your wisdom teeth are coming in. I don't know your age...if you are under 20, it's wisdom teeth, but if not, it could be an abcess or worse. Go to your dentist and get that checked. See, when there is any type of "mass" underneath the tooth, you will naturally feel the need to bite down. It could also be a tumor. Have it checked out. i know this sounds weird but that happens to me at times too it feels like i need to grind me teeth or bite down really hard , i usually bite down really hard then move my jaw from side to side . sorry i sound like a freak ,lol

I have a friend who bites ice, and she says that to.
Ask your Dentist next time. They also say biting ice
isn't good for the teeth.

sometimes your teeth move and that could be why.
