The various sects that are fighting over there were fighting long before the U.S. entered the picture, and they will be fighting long after. Do I regret the U.S. removing Saddam from power? No, he was dictator and he committed genocide. We need to start thinking about a graceful way to exit Iraq. You must realize that our enemies will use our leaving Iraq against us. To convince their fellow terrorists that we are weak and that could give them the incentive to attack us on our own soil again. This must be handled well. I think the capture and trial of Osama would close it nicely. Assuming he is still alive. This is a good question. Peace.

Iraqis don't like the U.S. . If you want to find out for yourself, go to an Iraqi chat site www.iraq4u.com, where 1/2 the Iraqis speak English. One big reason is U.S. support for Israel.
That being the case, why doesn't the U.S. pull out of Iraq and go to Zimbabwe and take out that 83 year old Mugabe, since the people are more likely to appreciate it. North Korea also might turn out well if invaded.

As long as mankind is involved in life there will always be conflicts. Let's say. one of your neighbors comes into you home while all are asleep and starts beating-up your family, do you say "Stop and let's reason this out!" or might you clubber the bum to save your family? I'm sure there are better ways of putting it than the way I did, but, which do you think you would do?

i think the US should go back to an isolationist policy like the liberal protestors want...
then, when the US turns into a big version of Iraq/Israel with car bombs and people being machine gunned in the streets, you can blame them.
