Despite morning rush hour, where would you go ? What would it cost roughly and why this choice over another?

SUMMARY
‘Non-main stream’– Purple: continental food at the Bongo room on weekends; Kenteman: West Loop - Lou Mitchell's fry-up breakfasts and comfort food lunches, reasonably priced menu’s of Wishbone and Le Peep; Steve B: Wheatfield’s; ~NEO~: Tempo Café, purportedly the best omelets in town with skillet potatoes.
Reasonable – Lena: Denny’s; Jefferson: preferably IHOP, seconding Lena’s Denny’s; Loves2Ask: IHOP ardent supporter, Dunkin Donuts in reserve; efel: McD;
Alternative – ctodosbienlocos: soup and eggs on the corner of milwaukee and armitage; Simply…:’Dncink’; Boomer Wisdom: Taking turns in bed with warmed champagne. “Don't suggest hitting rush hour traffic.” - Not sure about doing a Kate Moss diet with malted champagne. Sounds frisky.

CHOICE
- Kenteman’s spread appear most reasonably priced, relatively centrally located and ‘timely’ on manic mornings
- Comparable suggestions include Purple’s Bongo room, Steve B’s Wheatfield’s, ~NEO~’s Tempo Café, bear visiting on weekends.
- IHOP voiced by Jefferson and Loves2Ask, is a good diner fairly readily available across states, as are Lena’s and efel’s fast food joints, reserved for the odd weekends.
