Morally I say yes. Legally, no you can't. You know if some one lies and you know they are lying, and they know you know;
A)they are a sociopath
B)they are an a$$hole
C)they are purposely messing with you
D)they are not terribly bright and have no manners
No matter which one of these applies, (unless they are immediate family, cause you can't pick your family) I would completely disassociate myself from them. They are unworthy of your friendship. What are you describing here? I think you are illustrating the relationship the American citizenry has with their current administration. Am I correct? We know they are lying. They know we know they are lying. They want to shoot us for knowing they are lying.
