It depends on the county. I live where 3 counties come together. I checked all 3 counties and the cost ranged from $30 - $40. You can register in any county within the state you are getting married in, so if you're like me and live close to county borders, check them all.

In Utah they cost around $50. I think that's the most expensive I've heard.

More popular states to have destination weddings cost more...in Hawaii and florida it's like $90.

I don't know what the general cost today but four years ago in MO it was 25 and is still the same in our area.

It really depends upon each state. They're all different. I'd put aside about $50 though.

In NJ, we just paid $28. I think it's extra if you want copies though. Don't forget there's usually a waiting period, so get it early!
