I do not want to mention this brand, but every blog and research I've done points me to withdrawl pains after dis-continueing the vitamin. I only took one brand, no other medicine. I do not take more than one type of vitamin...this is the only thing I used to take. At $12 for 100, and two free 50-count bottles with it, I feel I was ripped off. Can I return the 197 vitamins I didn't, and refuse to take? Why when I've asked this type of question before on Yahoo Answers, why do nurses come on here and tell me it's un-heard of, or it's all in my head? I've not taken this vitamin in 3 weeks and I no longer feel bone, feet, ear, toe, neck, back, knee, elbow, and head pain like I felt when I was taking it. I need answers, and has anyone suffered extreme bone pain reactions, like I have, from a major multi-vitamin? I want serious replies ONLY. And don't answer going, thanks for the points. I think these vitamins might endanger my health, if they haven't allready.

I had that! Bad migraines when taking a popular multivitamin- I think I was reacting to one of the viamins in it, or maybe I didnt really need it? ( also had sharp pains in my joints and shins, arms)
I was sitting there doing internet searches for days but came up with nothing, Im still sure it was the vitamins cause when I stopped taking them I felt way better.

No you are not nuts, but it may not be the brand. More like it is probably a certain vitamin or more than 1 that your body does not need. Taking vitamins can be tricky a multi- vitamin is not always the answer for everyone. You may want to find a natural Doctor who can help you to find out what ones your body needs. People often think that taking a multi will help them but often they can do more harm. Putting more of what you need in can easily disrupt other things. It is best to go find out what it is your body needs. Often Western medicine doctors may not agree but finding a Natural Doctor, someone who specializes in these things and does not look at you as a text book but more as an individual with your own bodies needs would greatly benefit you and your body.

I tried a lot of multi vitamins and have had similar pains as a result of some of them. The one common denominator was how much of an accelerator their is in the vitamin. If there is at least 200mg of caffeine you can experience all sorts of weird side effects. Also yerba mate, anhydrous anything, and bitter orange are all similar to caffeine in chemical make up. Any time you speed the body up quite a bit than slow it down rapidly in cycles ] can cause lots of unwanted side effects. If you want to know about a multi vitamin ask a nutritionist not a nurse. Nurses suck!

Hi there !

I think you have the question and also the answer !
1. You could be allergic to any of the ingredients in the medicine ? and it is developing this sort of intolerance ? Also,
B-complex allergy is very well known condition !
2. Any medicine once opened , will not be taken back by the pharmacy !
3. If you are not "tolerating" the medicine, do not take it !
After all, just because that one person developed intolerance, we cannot "generalise" the thing ..right ?
eg : penicillin, the "wonder drug" !

After all , "everything starts with the mind " !...
That is the most possible reason...
Best judge would be your family physician..contact him ! he knows you better !
Best wishes !

You are reacting to an ingredient in the tablet.....it could be a vitamin or one of the excipient ingredents in the formulation (tablet binders, fillers, etc. ) or even a coloring agent.
Return them if you can an ask a Pharmacist about an organic vitamin.

you can't stop yourself from crying due to it being an emotion. The pain never goes even if years go by one day there will be a song a name an occasion that will open those flood gates again.

you seem to have an allergic reaction to one of the compounds in this formula. go to a specialist and let them run the test one by one to see which one it is.
