The last time I went to Disneyland in Anahiem several of the rides I was most interested in revisiting were closed. I voiced my dissappointment after spending the day there at a customer service center near the front gates. They apologized and gave us free admission tickets to visit Disney California (just a few steps from the original Disneyland). I had not planned to go to both parks, because of the expense, but for free it was well worth it. I wouldn't suggest you try to be dishonest and scam customer service out of free tickets, but you may want to make some calls to Disney to see what sort of discounts you can arrange.
