Where can I find out if a complaint has been file on a doctor?

Go to the medical board in whatever state you are in. You can usually put the name of the doctor in and at the bottom it will tell you all you need to know

Hi there !
It depends on the country you are from !
Majority of the situations, the senior hospital staff would be the better choice who would be knowing "everything " !
Otherwise, the choices are : Hospital medical board, Hospital ethics commitee, or the state medical council !
Try with them..
