I left out a few details last time. OK, I think my situation just snowballed. I had told my friends who I liked, and they thought I needed a girlfriend. So being the great friends they were, they helped me. Or at least tried. Now, the girl who I liked had absolutely no clue about who I was. So, they approached her without me knowing and asked her if she would go out with me. Now, for one thing, she didn't even know me, and second, I probably seemed chicken cuz I didn't personally ask her. So I'm torn between just jumping the gun and asking her out or starting as friends?

Whenever you get stuck in a situation like this, remember, take a few steps backwards and just cool it for a while. Don't do anything, later when things cool down a bit, then decide ur next step, if you do anything at all now, u are most definitely going to mess it up.

Go to her. Definitely go to her and just say something like, "my friends are dumbasses, I think you're really cute and I'd like to get to know you better. My name is blahblah". Hope for the best. At the very least you'll have cleared the air with her so it's not awkward if you see her again and didn't say anything.

Stay away from her and all other girls on the face of the planet until you are mature enough to (a) do your own asking out and (b) not have to blab everything to your busybody friends for them to take your private life into their hands.

Just ask her out. Your friends doing that makes you sound like a chicken. Women don't like weak men.

talk to her.. tellher you were meant to approach her but they did it before you as you were too shy... tell her youd like to go see a move or something if she wass okay with it... start of as friends and see where she sees herself with you... she doesnt know you whats the chance shes gonna wanna go out with a total stranger? does she have a girlfriend? what does she want from you? or from guys...?
