LOTS of money ( serious structural changes required ) ( also some zoning laws do not allow them - but best case scenario requires an engineering study - best if you look in the yellow pages and get a local estimate THIS IS NOT A DO-IT-YOURSELF PROJECT ) last of all check with your insurance company they may also have some bad news for you
