Sylvester is what some people call a tomcat and some people call it a tuxedo cat. Normally its called a tomcat when its the dominant male cat in the neighborhood and managed to get a lot of female cats pregnant.

I agree, that he is a Tuxedo cat. I have the pleasure of sharing my home with a cat like Sylvester, I have heard they are known for having a very loving personality.

I really can t say but I have one and he s been a great cat and he wears his tuxedo every day. He s been a zany cat since I found him on my back porch 14 years ago. Unfortunately he s developed a nasal turmor that s spread into his brain. We ve had a cat-scan, biopsy and as much as the tumor removed as possible but he has only a few days of life left. If you ever have a change to ever adopt one I sugest you do and consider yourself a very lucky person. I know I am.
