i know that smoking is bad period but ive been craving for a cigarette for awhile now. i havent had one because ive been sick with the cold/flu. my throat is sore and ive got a lot of plhem. will a cigarette make the symptoms worse?

Yes. You will want to cough more which will make your throat even more sore.

Yes... it will make it worse. I'm not trying to be anti smoking or anything, but maybe if you force yourself to not smoke now because it'll help you get better quicker, you could take advantage of the situation, buy some nicorette gum and quit for good :) good luck

Yes! My mother-in-law continues to smoke through chronic bronchitis, and now lately she cannot even draw a good breath and cannot stop coughing EVER.

for me when my throat ache i'd still smoke even my mom tells me not to.. but i think it went well... but some of my friends get worse if they smoke when thier throat ache..
