Personally, I am celebrating by cooking a lot, Insha Allah. lol. Seriously, though, Eid is such a special time. It is a time not only to reflect on how we spent our time during Ramadan, and hoping to recieve so many blessings from it. That is part of it, but my fellow Muslims, I would also like you to reflect this Eid on how fortunate most of us are, and to think of those who will not have food for Eid, and other things we take for granted. Any hunger we've felt is really nothing in comparison. May Allah bless this Eid for you all, and I am sending my love to you all. Assalamoalakum, Sister Safiyyah

Alaikumsalam Safiyyah. You're right, after the Eid prayer, there will be lots of cooking - mine will be ketupat & chicken curry, but also visiting relatives, even distant ones, going home to your folks - if you live in different city / country. There will be gifts, new clothes & small money for kids, and tons of firecrackers & fireworks.
Have a blessed Eid ;)

Inshaallah, i will double my prayers that day. i will ask Allah to make me a more patient, giving and enduring person. Inshaallah, Allah will bless the world and all the people in it with His Bounty and Mercy. Inshaallah, i will pray the we as a world will be closer and live in harmony. that is what i ask for, that all brothers and sisters of this world live as one together and forever. and this Eid i will definitely pray for people like Jenny so that Allah may give lots of peace and love in their heart. may peace and blessings of Allah be with us and may He guide us in the right path.
