Yes, Catholics believe that people of other religions can go to Heaven.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states:
+ About Non-Catholic Christian Churches, "Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth" are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: "the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements." Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church. All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him."
+ About Judaism: "The Jewish faith, unlike other non-Christian religions, is already a response to God's revelation in the Old Covenant. To the Jews "belong the sonship, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises; to them belong the patriarchs, and of their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ"; "for the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.
+ About Islam: The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day.
+ About other non-Christian religions: All nations form but one community. This is so because all stem from the one stock which God created to people the entire earth, and also because all share a common destiny, namely God. His providence, evident goodness, and saving designs extend to all against the day when the elect are gathered together in the holy city.
With love in Christ.

Catholics believe that people of other religions can go to heaven. They do believe though, that the Catholic church is the preferred method according to Jesus. They believe that anyone, through no fault of their own, who has not accepted the church, but lives a worthy life will be able to go to heaven. They recognize the other Christian churches such that clergy of some of those churches may be admitted as clergy in the Catholic church, such as the Anglicans. It's actually possible for a married Anglican priest to join the Catholic church and still be married. That's the only way I know of to have a married Roman Catholic priest.
Short answer then, yup.

Not only can you, you should believe people of other faiths can go to Heaven. The Catholic Church believes all mainstream religions possess at least some degree of God's Truth. They can all lead closer to God.
Of course, this explanation begs the question, "If other faiths can lead one closer to God, why join the Catholic Church as opposed to any other mainstream religion?"
The answer is this; other mainstream religions possess varying degrees of God's Truth where as the Catholic Church possesses the Fullness of the Truth. Why settle for anything less than the Fullness of the Truth, right?

I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD WORRY IF OTHERS WILL GO TO HEAVEN, YOU SHOULD CARE MORE ABOUT YOU IN REGARDS TO DOING THE RIGHT THING, AND BEING A GOOD PERSON OR A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR THOSE WHO LOOK UP TO YOU. IN THE QUESTION OF BEING A CATHOLIC, ALL RELIGIONS ARE PREJUDICE TOWARDS OTHER RELIGIONS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF BUDDHISM BUT I THINK IS NOT CONSIDER A RELIGION MORE A WAY OF LIFE, THEY ENCOURAGE FOR OTHERS TO PRACTICE OTHER RELIGIONS. I'M GUESSING THAT YOU WANT TO BE A CATHOLIC BECAUSE THERE IS SOMEONE THAT YOU LIKE AND HE OR SHE IS A CATHOLIC AND MAYBE THEIR FAMILY WON'T ACCEPT YOU, WHO KNOWS.
I RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU WANT TO BECOME A CATHOLIC DO IT BECAUSE YOU LIKE IT, NOT BECAUSE OF ANY OTHER REASON. I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE WANT TO DISCOVER RELIGIONS, SOMETIMES IS BECAUSE OF SOME SORT OF GUILT, SOMETIMES IS TO BE ACCEPTED BY SOMEONE OR SOME GROUP. AND RARELY IS BECAUSE SOMEONE IS GENUINELY INTERESTED IN THE RELIGION ITSELF.
SO FIND OUT WHY YOU WANT TO DO THIS IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY THINKING OF BECOMING ONE.
ANYWAY.

Absolutely! In fact, the church professed within the documents of the Second Vatican Council that is is possible for ANYONE to go to heaven. That's God's business, not ours. Any teachings about "Catholics only" or "Christians only" in heaven has been defunct for a few decades now.

No, you can embrace the religion but to be a true catholic you would have to adhere to every rule, you mgith be able to believ that other christian religions can go to heaven but due to the fact that catholics use a priest for confession it is doubtful....my mom is roman catholic and my husband is muslim. Good luck.

Technically speaking you can't exactly call yourself a practicing Christian at all if you believe that everyone goes to Heaven. It says in the bible that we must call upon the name of Jesus to be saved. So, if someone does not believe Jesus is Messiah that are not saved.
These are just a few verses that support that
Romans 3:23, Romans 10:13, Romans 6:23
It's because of this that Christians evangelize.

That question shows that you love others and respect their beliefs so that is admirable. If you want to be a Catholic, or rather a born again Christian, then you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and whoever believes in him, will go to heaven to join him. So, according to that principle, people who do not belive in him will not go to heaven. But that doesn't mean that you can't love them and perhaps help them to follow Christ. God Bless and I pray that you follow your heart. :)

Yes. The Catholic Church does not think that other religions are fake ones. It's just like they have different practices, but after all we only have one God. :)
