My hair is:
- thick
- medium length
- frizzy
- wavy

I've got asian people hair[Duh, because I'm asian] I want to have straight hair. I don't like to straighten my hair with irons because they're a hassel and I don't have enough time to do that every morning before leaving for school.

What would be the best way to get it?

How much would as straightning perm cost at a regular salon?

Buy Bone Straight, the beauty store should carry it. It's made by TCB, (it's for black peoples hair), this stuff works great. After you towel dry put some in your hair and then blow dry. Your hair will be smooth and silky without the frizzies.

i know you said you dont like irons bc they're a hassel. i thought so too until i bought a "chi". it works like magic. it turned my hour long straitening session into a 15 min. session! its a little pricey but for the time it saves and the super straight results its worth it in my mind! hope that helps some! :)

Buy a perm and put the mixture in your hair and keep combing it through.

Probably the same as a regular perm.

Here are my solutions that I posted for two other woman who both chose it as the best answer. (1st one is relaxing it which last for about 8 weeks, 2nd one is using the right products and styling tools on a more frequent basis, I know you said you don't want it...but just in case you want to do it once in a while for a certain event). a

***If you want a breakdown of flat irons, click on my profile, go to my best answers section and look at the the ones that were about flat irons.
The cost for relaxing depends on your hair length...I suggest you call and check, but try to find a reputable stylist who will do it.

1) You can chemically have it relaxed for up to 8 weeks, however be aware of how things work (this is my answer to woman who was thinking about relaxing her hair)

It depends on the hair relaxer....the LYE ones have a pH range of 11-14 which is basically what they use to clean sink pipes and all that...there are the more commone ones with slightly a little less pH which are good since they dont have LYE. Make sure the stylist does a strand test before she applys it...the reason to see if it works on your hair fine..
Also, she should not leave it on for more than 15 mins regardless of how coarse your hair is...Black people only leave it on for 15 mins...
After she has applied the relaxer and the 15 mins has past, she has too wash your hair with a specific shampoo and conditioner in order to neutralize the pH level.
Then you should not wash your hair for the next 2 days....
Next you must take important care of your hair (relaxed hair becomes dry, so you need moisture)

I have relaxed hair...so that's why I know these things.

I use Redken All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner along with Heavy Cream once a week...you can also use the additional Butter Treatment from Redken....I use the first 3 products and I'm happy with my results...however, when my bottles finish, I will switch to PHYTO's brand, which have specific shampoos for relaxed hair along with great moisturizing conditioners (rinse out, once a week masks, and daily leave in conditioners....you can use phyto 7 or 9 depending on how dry your hair is....) They have lots of other stuff as well....they're stuff is like magic so the money is well worth it...

So if you do relax it, take special care of it and moisturize it...and your hair will not fall off.....

In fact the only time that it will fall off....if it does....is when the stylist is rinsing off the shampoo....not when you get home.

Therefore, as long as your stylist is using the proper techniques and know what she is doing, you should be fine.

Hope I've been a great help.

2) Temporarily straighten it....this is how (I've copied and pasted from one of my previous answers that was chosen as the best one)

I'm not gay but I do like to take care of how my hair looks and if any women think that there is something wrong with that, please let me know because I appreciate your honesty.

The best anti frizz system is from PHYTO....but they are expensive, however, they will get the job done....

PHYTO has many products for different hair....but here is what I suggest you use.

1) Phytobrush Shampoo
2) One of Phyto's instant hydrating conditioners (the ones that you rinse off)
3) PHYTO's Relaxing balm (this is what you would use prior to blow-drying and its the best relaxing balm...it's allure's winner...its $25 for a 3.3 oz bottle...if you want more you can pay the same amount and get 7.1 oz of Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream, that works great as well.
4) After you have blow-dryed, use BioSilk Therapy and apply it to your hair
5) Use a flat iron (and of course use a heat protectant...CHI 44, Sebastian Sharper Iron Hot Tools, Nexxus Protexx are just a few...
6) Use a good flat iron (People will tell you CHI is the best, it gives great results but breaks down, and if you purchase it online the warranty is void...) so use the SEDU flat iron, its the best and if you want proof and reviews with b4 and after pics, go to folica.com and see the reviews for the 1 1/2" they have...its also allure's winner as well....if you want a more detailed breakdown of flat irons see my other answers regarding flat irons (again I'm not gay)

7) Follow through with PHYTO 7 or 9 depending of how dry your hair is as they are leave in conditioners...
8) Use the PHYTO deep conditioner masks that are to be used once a week...

Obviously the last 2 steps do not de-frizz your hair, but that is taken care long before you get to them....the last 2 steps are just to help your dry hair.

Hope it helps.

I think a perm is a great idea! Perms only cost $ 2.00 at the beauty supply house.

If you don't like it cut it. I have seen a lot of cute asian girls with short hair. Some guys don't care for long hair it gets in the way
