I have known this girl for a very long time throughout my years of school. In this last year i have noticed alot of things that make me think she likes me. i really like her.
for example...if im starring at her and she notices then i look quickly away. ALSO if she is starring at me then i look at her we both turn quickly away. I talk to her now more than ever and she talks to me alot. could this be a sign that she likes me bak? i really do like her and find myself thinking about her alot. could anyone tell me what i should do? i know i will see her everywhere for at least the next 3 years. i would love it if we could become more than just good friends but i don't know how i should approch talking to her and it could really help to know what others think is going on or what i should do about it. thanks alot everyone

This doesn't have to be as complicated as you think it does. Start trying to get 'closer' to her. By that I do not mean that you should ask her out on a date. Talk to her more and more in school. Try and find some way to see her out of school, but not as a date but just a casual event as friends. The more time you spend with her the better you can figure out how she looks at you and chances are good that the 'boyfriend/girlfriend' thing will happen naturally without ever having to ask the awkward question of "Do you want to go out with me?"

Ok, I know that it's a bit frightening when you've been friends for so long, but if you are really close try telling her how u feel, it should be easy if you are friends, friends should be able to tell each other anything, by the sounds of it she may be feeling just as scared as you as well as on your level of "wanting the next step". i had a best friend once, and when I told him he said we'd have to wait cuz we were too young and our mothers wouldn't approve as we were in the age to start "exploring" and he was afraid if they thought we would ( we wouldn't of course cuz we were smart to wait anyhow) do something, they would tear us apart then we would lose our friendship as well, also he was worried we would move to quickly to the next step and fall apart also risking the friendship. A month later he was wrongfully accused of a crime and sentenced to 60 years with no chance of parole, now we were 13 and 16 at the time, so we will never be together now, and we both regreted not spending what little time we didn't know we had in love with each other, so I say go for it, the worst that could happen is she may say she wants to wait or not ruin friendship by that then well, she'll need to be the friend she is and help you get over it, cuz it won't be easy, but don't worry about risking the question, she may actually care for you the same way and you guys may work it out like u want... the point is: do you wanna live forever? Good luck:)

From what you say you both sound a bit shy .Give it more time being friends and talking as the friendship develops you will both comunicate better to each other and have more trust together when you can talk like this to her without offending her you can ask if she wants more she may even ask you so control your desires and give it more time if she is right for you she wont give up on you for someone else.

Just jump her with it!! No...kidding.

You could always do like another just said, try and find events to do out of school with her, even if you hafta get a group of friends together. Make it less friends each time perhaps, or try to make it where there would be pairs. Feel free to be sneaky about it, but not too creepy or obvious.
