The guy can get hints but he won't ever really know.
Lets say your hymen is intact .. are you going to let him examine you under a light in stirrups? na. Even feeling for it is embarrasing and very difficult. There may or may not be blood when it breaks. In the dark ages some women would cut themselves just to make sure there was lots of blood .. alas ..just in case.
I slept with a girl that I am pretty sure that she was a virgin .. but there was no blood. There seemed to be a moment where there was a little bit of pain for her .. and I did not notice it at the time .. (guys are like that you know.) it was more in how oddly she acted the next day and days afterwards that convinced me. She kinda regretted it and showed it telling ways.
Lets say it is not. Hymen break all the time with modern culture. My poor buddy Joanie was so embarrased that when drunk she admitted to me and another girlfriend.. her buddies not her lovers alas .. that she was so worried that her hyman had broken but she was a virgin.
Sometimes a girl seems more experenced .. but that could come from anywhere.
On the flip-side my first girl really did not believe I was a virgin before her, I apparently handled my self well. She actually got a little angry at my claim. odd but true.

Not even her gynecologist can tell whether she is a virgin or not. Unless she's had natural childbirth.

Virgins have a layer of skin called a hyman arround the inside of the virgina. If it is in tack you can feel it, when they have sex the hyman rips and is gone.

maybe, she might bleed the first time or it might be uncomfortable. However thats not always the case. Sometimes you can't tell.
