Go to the place where you want to get your tattoo done. Most of the tattoo artists are artists too and will design a tattoo for you. Tell them exactly what you want. If they design something and it's not what you want, they will re design it. My guy did 3 designs for me before he got one I liked of the unicorn that I have on my leg.

My suggestion is to got to a tattoo shop in the area.
Take a look at a portfolio to see their art, and if you like it, you should get them to tattoo it for you. Most artists will draw you a design if you're willing to get it tattooed. Most of them should be able to do anything that you want, and since art and designing all kinds of tattoos is a part of their job, they're good at it! If you give them a great description of how you want it to look, they should be able to do it! Its best to have you tattoo artist do all of the designing if you aren't going to draw it yourself...they should easily satisfy your needs.

If you are not aware of any shops in the area, ask around, look in the phonebook, or the online yellowpages to find a tattoo shop. Shop for quality, not the cheapest.... that IS if you're going for quality... :-P

Trust me, though! I do it everyday at work!

There are tons of talented artists out there! I would suggest looking around at several different artists work. Check out their portfolios, and see if you like one more than the other.
