Not many people at this point. But they used to but it was decades ago when America used to stand for freedom and set an example to the world. But now it is an international bully.
I just think that like any nation they have become arrogant.
Sure it is a good country with great history but like any country it cn be a pain in the butt and a great nation. I think that they should simply grow up and not act like they rule the world. For example the U.S says China should be punished for not cooperating with
Noth Korea and Iran sanctions but really how can the U.S punish them when they owe 3 trillion dollars to them. And then there are
the people. "nuke em and git over it" they always say that when someone talks about Iraq or Iran or North Korea. Sure it worked with Japan but that was a conventional war. Some idiots actually think it will work everytime!North Korea actually dared the U.S to drop a nuke. They are not afraid of it. Sure people will die but
the governament does not care if its people die. Their military will just spread out everwhere and not give up until the last man.
And then they talk about their stealth bombers lol. Sure it would win in a conventional fight but they are beginning to think that war is this little signing of formal documents and CNN television.
They think that a few stealth bombers,a couple men a nuke or two can bring every country to its knees. Even America's full arsenal of 18,000 nukes cannot do that. Its not about bombing and watching the leader cry and making them sign this formal document. When you are muged in a street by someone you don't say "okay lets fight,if you bring me down take my money
you can't hit here or here or here". Instead you would fight until the last breath. Defend youself. stab the gang member do anything neccisary even run. War is not a formal thing and the U.S has to relize that. They are abusing their power. A perfect example would be in the Tsunami. Have you ever wondered why they talk about Thai Land the most in the media. Simply because Thai Land accepted aid and is a U.S.A ally. They did not have the highest death toll at all. But the U.S wanted to show the world that they will help a country in its hour of need. Whywas India who rejected aid and said they have the problem under control
not shown in the media? Then it would show the world something else. When they see the aid to Thai Land everyone looks at the U.S as a hero. Would the U.S have looked that way if they had helped victams of Hurricane Katrina not really. Not enough publicity.

DO NOT GET ME WRONG I LIKE THE U.S.A and
not a critic um to your extant (no offense lol) cause
the U.S is a great country. It just went a little ku ku and war with North Korea or Iran would brin them back to their noble senses.

i dont think weve seen immigration, escpecially illegal kind slow down since the war, or since 9-11 for that matter
i love america, am proud to serve in the uscg and wish that more americans were patriotic like our grandfathers were
regardless of the current prezident, people have no right to bash the military, or america as a country, they forget what hundeds of thousands of "americans" have done in the past, died for this country. that should say it all

maybe the millions of people trying to get into America every year. Legally and Illegally. Maybe the 300 million of us that live here with the exception of a few stupid uneducated, people that don't know what the rest of the world is like, and how good they have it here. Alot of older people hat live all over the world still love America because they have seen America save them personally from dictators. Go ask the older generation in France what they think of Americans. But remember while you are there to stay out of trouble, because the French can throw you in jail for investigation, for a long time without charges, don't have Miranda rights, and don't really care what you think. PS they treat most immigrants there quite badly so make sure you tell them your just visiting.

I love Americans...forever.

I live in the Belgian Ardennes, where every square inch of soil has been blessed by the blood of young US soldiers, 60 years ago.

well i know i like americans since i live in North America. America is my neighbor and we share a border with them eventhough some policy makers in the U.S. want to close their borders to us and mexico. Calm down already most people like your country assuming you are an american citizen.

I DO!! I'M AN AMERICAN. I THINK BEFORE EVERYONE CANS US, THEY SHOULD TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT WHAT HAS BEEN DONE FOR THEIR PARTICULAR COUNTRY, BY US. OR MAYBE THEY COULD CONSIDER THE MONEY THAT HAS BEEN POURED INTO THEIR COUNTRY THAT WAS NEVER PAID BACK. OR THE FOOD. OR MEDICAL SUPPLIES. OR TECHNOLOGY.
I DON'T THINK WE ARE SO BAD AFTER ALL. THERE AREN'T MANY OF US TRYING TO DEFECT OR EMIGRATE TO OTHER COUNTRIES.
MILLIONS TRY TO COME HERE EVERY YEAR. WHY? WE ARE BETTER THAN WHAT THEY HAVE.
OF COURSE WE AREN'T PERFECT. EVEN I KNOW THAT. BUT WE ARE STILL APPARENTLY THE BEST.
CHECK OUT OUR TEST SCORES. MAYBE OURS ARE LOWER THAN THE REST OF THE WORLD, BUT THE REST OF THE WORLD ONLY KEEPS ABOUT 20 PERCENT OF ITS YOUTH IN SCHOOL. WE TRY TO KEEP ALL OF OURS IN FROM THE SMARTEST TO THE SLOWEST LEARNER.
THIS COUNTRY HAS A SWINGING DOOR. WE ALLOW EMIGRANTS, BUT WE ALSO ALLOW PEOPLE TO LEAVE. IF PEOPLE DON'T LIKE IT HERE, THEY ARE WELCOME TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
WE MAY BE CONSIDERED THE "BAD" GUYS TO SOME PEOPLE, BUT LET SOMEONE GET IN TROUBLE AND WATCH THEM RUN. WHO DO THEY INVARIABLY RUN TO? YOU GOT IT. US.
THE PROBLEM IS THAT WE DON'T GET TO SEE THE GOOD PR THE U.S. GETS. ONLY THE BAD HITS THE WORLD NEWS. WHO WANTS TO HEAR SUNSHINE AND FLOWER NEWS REPORTS? NOBODY THAT I KNOW OF.

I love America, and what it's supposed to stand for, but I get frustrated with my fellow Americans a lot lately. Sometimes they simply like the easiest way of thinking rather than the harder, yet smarter way.
And I think the rest of the world sees this. They see us as immediate-gratification infants and they aren't entirely wrong.
We need to stop thinking that we live in the best country in the world. All countries have merit. We need to stop being so simple-minded.
And I know not all of us are simple-minded, but that is how we are perceived and, I'm sorry folks, but that is how our President is.
