Ive been to the doctor and had a catscan to no avail. i drink 2 litres of water everyday and eat a fairly healthy diet with heaps of fresh fruit and veg. ive also had my eyesught tested and its also fine. Does anyone know what this could be? do you think I need a second doctors opinion? its been going on for about 6 months, EVERY SINGLE MORNING???

Be aware that headaches are a very common problem but many people even the experts sometimes can't detect the proper problem and cause of headaches. It is especially important to take notice of other symptoms accompanying a headache.

It appears to be some type of crainial-facial nerve dysfunction. Not to alarm you but aneurysm is associated with migraine and pain in the orbital (eye) region. An aneurysm can place pressure on the brain instilling pain (severe headache) and affecting vision. The only treatment is surgery and no amount of proper nutrition will prevent this condition.

The experts are not certain as to the cause of aneurysm except to say that it may be due to an absence of a muscular layer that makes up part of the blood vessels that over time stretches and thins.

I am not saying you do have an aneurysm but it does sound like something is going on inside of your brain. I don't know why your CAT scan did not pick up anything. It usually picks up on intracranial pressure as well as aneurysm. To get a proper diagnosis, I would highly recommend that your doctor refer you to a neurologist and soon. If it is an aneurysm, it can be fatal if it is erupted (like a stroke).

Remember that severe and persistent headache and pain in the eye are related to a much more serious disorder (than something like allergies). Hence, this may be a neurological disorder.

I have lots of a.m. headaches as well and this started a few years ago. When I was 12 though I had my first migraine, sometimes I get headaches at hormonal times of the month.

It could be sinuses, allergies (dust mites). Replace your pillow, get a allergy cover for your mattress. Maybe the pillow itself is too flat, or too fluffy, experiment with different pillows. Get an air cleaner if you need one.

Check with your doc on meds first but you can try OTC stuff like Clairitin D (non-drowsy), or one Benadryl at bedtime. I can't take two bc then I'm knocked out for 10 or 12 hours, so be careful with it and for sure, check with your doc first about medications.

Today I needed a cup of coffee, 3 Excederin Migraine pills AND a Clairitin-D - so I can relate to your problem. I had a migraine on top of a sinus headache.

Also, it could be possible you have some cervical disk problem in your neck or upper spine. Try massage or even yoga. When I used to do yoga I was headache -free for months. Guess I should try it again.

If things are not getting better be sure to get a 2nd opinion.

yes I do believe you need a second opinion. Are you having any kind of stress in your life in the last 6 months? But I would highly recommend you see a specialist. This could be serious or it could be nothing that medication can't fix.I also had the same problem. They put me on migraine medication and that helped me. Also relaxing helps also. Then come to find out I am allergic to Carrots and that's what was giving me headaches. So, you could be allergic to something also But it could be something minor. Try not to worry until you know for sure what the problem is. Good luck

Hi,
If your eyes are ok, then the head ache could be due to neurological disorder. At what time you go to bed? do you get atleast 7 hours of sleep? Is your sleep peaceful one or disturbed? It is essential to have sound sleep. Also your work environment counts. Live a Stress free life. do you get angry very often? Control yourself. Also share your sorrow with your well wishers. This will releive you from getting hypertension and depression. Consult a neurologist or psycho therapist.

My chiropractor totally helped me with my head aches. (They too were likeyours..) Althoiugh i went to the Chiro for diffrent reasons. That wa sjust an extra. (Sorry keyboards dieing on me..) What i was told that it couudl have been something that you have eaten repetavily. or if you take too many tylenol, then definetly stop it. your body get stressed when you take things such as tylenol. So start a head ache journal. it'llhelp the doctor. and you'll be one step ahead, since they'd ask you to do it anyays. record what you ate, when, where, and what area yuou had around you type thing. Good luck!

Why have you not yet seen a chiropractor?? You evidently have a pretty good inflammatory condition going, to involve some of the cranial nerves (optic being one of them). These symptoms often will disappear quite rapidly when finding the right doctor. Headache and backache being the specialty of the Doctor of Chiropractic.

Let me know the results!

Get your hair cut. I guarantee you probably have thick/long hair. I felt the exact same way for almost a year. Tried everything, had cat scans, migraine meds. Nothing worked until I lightened the load on my head.

Try changing your pillow.
Any chance you are clenching your jaws in your sleep?
