why do my breasts look and fell like water ballons, I have had two children, but never breastfed for more than 2 weeks. I hope this goes away, I am 7 months postpartum from my second child. Please give me your stories and recoveries, NOT SICK ONES!

After two children(I now have three) mine did the same thing, and I'm sorry to say it never went back to the way it was. I used to have nice full perky boobs and after two kids, they dropped a cup size and moved south permanently. I can only imagine after I'm done nursing the last one it will only be worse. I think the only cure is a surgical lift, planned tentatively for my early thirties.

Wish it was better news, badge of motherhood I'm afraid.

I fed for 6 weeks before I could no longer do it. The difference between me and you is that I didn't stay big for long. I think 4 months after I stoped is about when the swelling went down. But it is almost 2 years since I had my daughter and I can still express a few drops so you got me lol. Now I do have to get a little serious with you. When you have leakage the doctor NEEDS to know. Sometimes the symptoms for breast cancer or an infection can resemble lactation. I'm not trying the scare you, just letting you know that this is an issue that you should communicate with a doctor or lactation specialist.

It varies by woman. I nursed for a year, gained 2 sizes, and when I stopped, they went back to their old size. My sister had TINY boobs. She only nursed for a few days, but her boobs grew 2 or 3 sizes and stayed that way. Its just not fair! lol.
