Children learn from role models. That's our main job as adults - to model behavior for children - appropriate behavior, of course. It's the largest responsibility we have as people in our society. Since compromise is necessary because we are all different and we don't live alone, the nuclear family is the most appropriate social construct we have to teach children how two different adults can make a life of compromise work for everyone's benefit. Of course, all this requires conscious efforts from both parents. Children then learn how to get along with people different from themselves.
This does not work in all cases. But, it is the best we have so far in human development.
That's the value of the family. Nothing else even comes close. Not politics, not persanal agendas, nothing.

The value of a family is very important. I know because I have lost most of mine. Two of our most important people in our family died. When they did our family completely split. Now I am trying to show my children how important family is. Family should stick together and help one another. Alot of families have forgotten some very simple and important things. Stay close to one another and don't trip over the material and finatial part. When it is all gone you will regret what is done and said.My family is regretting everything. We have gone so far that we cann't change anything.

Wow! Famliy is your network to life. we get our knowledge and wisdom from family. A close knit family stays together. Without family there is a void in your life. Families are of value because we are able to learn from each other and able to teach our learnings to the next generation of our family. A close family is a WISE family.

Family is there for you emotionally and physically. It is very important to have some type of unity in family, community, ... It's how we survive. It seems recently we've moved too much towards individuality. This is good on a general sense, but like anything, you need balance. I might act crazy sometimes on here, but really I care for you(all).
